for the following to work, you must have installed the Google Earth (GE) browser plug-in.  If you do not have it installed, you will be asked to install it when you select the link below.  You do not need to install Google Earth.

the following link will work with the following Windows internet browsers:
Google Chrome, Firefox, IE 6, IE 7
the following link will not work with Windows versions of Safari or IE 8

The following should work with Safari 3.1+ and Firefox 3.0+ running under Mac OS X

There will be a pause of a few seconds between the appearance of the initial Google Earth page showing the whole planet while the bathymetry overlay loads from another server.
