2020 Research in the Reserve: Studying Ecosystems of the Tidal Hudson
On March 11, 2020, about eighty participants representing nonprofits, state agencies and 20 colleges gathered at Reserve office at Norrie Point Environmental Center to learn about collaborative ecosystem research conducted with the Reserve or at its four tidal wetland sites along 100 miles of the Hudson Estuary. Participants learned about Reserve long-term water quality, nutrient, and weather data, habitat mapping products, fish, restoration and tidal wetland habitats and history a variety of research scientists. We want to thank the speakers, panelists and poster presenters for their efforts in making the day a success.
