New: updates to original case studies on shoreline projects detail site progression through the years

In 2013 and 2014, case study reports were written for the following 5 sites along the Hudson River: Habirshaw Park and Tidal Marsh, Foundry Dock Park, Esopus Meadows Preserve, Athens Fourth Street Kayak and Canoe Launch, and Coxsackie Boat Launch. These reports highlighted the ecologically enhanced shoreline projects that were implemented at each of these sites.

In 2018, these 5 sites were revisited and monitored to gather pictures and information from them. Some of the pictures and information collected were then used to create update pages that were added to the original case studies. These “2018 Updated Case Studies” allow the reader to see how these sites have fared over time by comparing material from the original case study with material from the update pages. The updated studies can be accessed at the following link: Shoreline Demonstration Site Network.
