Science Daily Article on Dams and Sediment in the Hudson (DaSH)

A Science Daily article summarizes the findings of the Hudson River based NERRS Science Collaborative funded project  Dams and Sediments in the Hudson, which has been published in the  journal: Earth Surface Processes and Landforms.

Some Hudson River marshes have been formed by human intervention such as railroad causeways.  Marshes are receiving sufficient sediment to keep up with sea-level rise.
